Worthy is the Lamb!

So, what’s the point of Revelation? If we are to understand the End Times, what it is and what it isn’t, this question is of paramount importance. But what we discover is not so much apocalyptic as it is revealing of who Jesus is and why He is so central to the judgments in Revelation, including the End Times. It is not a ticked-off-at-humanity, out-of-control God who pours out His nightmare-inducing wrath, but a sovereign, patient, and merciful God who is drawing the lost to Himself, even using drastic measures. To see this, we start with the opening of a mysterious scroll, bound by seven seals of judgments, inside of which is nothing short of “earth-shaking.”
