May 23, 2026 – At first glance it appears that Satan has set God up to allow him to destroy Job’s life, but nothing could be further from the truth. How are we to understand God’s promises when it appears He has permitted the enemy past His hedge of protection around our life but said He would not allow evil to come near us in Ps. 91? Has God lied? Is He just not powerful enough sometimes? Or is He perhaps holding an Ace that we just can’t see.
