When things don’t seem to work out in relationships, it’s common for people to reply, “It’s complicated.” Which basically means, “It’s really hard to deal with, and I’d rather not talk about it.” Similarly, when it comes to one’s relationship with the Lord, many often feel unloved, struggle to deal with it, and so find it hard to love Him in return. Why is this? Taking our cue from marriage, “Let’s talk about it.” It may be hard, but it’s not complicated!
