We all can have Aha Moments, where we realize something for the first time. We finally get it, really get it. John the Baptist had one of those moments where he finally got it. It changed the trajectory of his ministry, just in time to point others, including his disciples, to the One long awaited, Jesus. What He reveals he finally understood can also change the course and purpose of our own lives as it firmly sets the theme of the entire book of John’s gospel.
