Most Meaningful Ministry Experience Has Been: Giving a talk to the teen group

How I came to Christ: For as long as a I can remember, I have heard enough about Jesus, God, and the Holy Word of God to write a book chock full of that stuff, a novel even. But, the truth is, until I came to Florida (in 1999) my knowledge was just knowledge. I knew about Jesus, I had faith that he existed, but I hadn't really put feet to my faith. In Florida, however, I got plugged in to Powerline. My family wasn't perfect and we definitely had our problems, but, here, all of that began to fade. The families and leadership here at Powerline showed my family and I the true face of love, as displayed in the gospels by Jesus. It was a selfless love, a sacrificial love, a love that saw no sin. I really came to know just how much I had messed up and how much Christ had done to wipe it all away. And it wasn't just knowledge, it was true faith. I began to have regular quiet times, I attended bible studies and I came to have a true, intimate relationship with Jesus; my Lord, my Savior and my God. Today, I play on the worship team, I've led a few bible studies and I continue to try my best to serve the Lord and worship him in all that I do. Jesus is my hero.
