 Ministry Goals for the future: To continue to overcome addictions in my life and to have a deeper walk with the Lord. Looking back at my life and ministry, there were things in the beginning that God showed me I would do that I thought would be totally impossible and now find myself doing. It blows my mind. I look forward to the future because I know God has even greater things that seem impossible now.

Most Meaningful Ministry Experience Has Been: Singing during a worship set when you can see the Holy Spirit moving through the congregation and people enter in. Praying for people and seeing God move through your prayers.

How I came to Christ: My story is one of persistence, resistance and acceptance. I was married to my wife and we were going through life in the D.C. area. It was a complete rat race. We were not serving the Lord at the time. I had a person in my life that would call me EVERY week and recommend a church to go to. I would seem interested and even pretend to write copious notes about the church we never went to. His persistence always seemed to stay in my mind. He never seemed to give up. It was obviously very important to him. I did attend one church and found it to be ... well a little bit kooky. But I think the whole thing opened my heart a little bit and exposed it to the light.

My wife and I belonged to a group of business professionals. We would go to meetings and then have coffee at Denny's. One particular night the leader of our group began to speak freely about how Christ had made an impact on his life. He pulled out a Bible and began to share scriptures with us. He spoke about the relationship he had with Jesus. I had never really seen such passion about Jesus before. I was raised Catholic, was familiar with the Bible, went to catechism classes all my young life. I was even an altar boy. I could justify my entrance into Heaven. I'm a good guy, I do good things and I've never killed anyone. But of course, Scripture showed me that I was dead wrong! But I never had what he spoke of that night. My wife and I were deeply affected and wept right there in the booth of that Denny's. We were never the same after that.

The greatest thing that happened to me and my wife was that we had someone who cared about us enough to call us on a regular basis. Maybe you have someone in your life that you've called and called and called with no response. Don't worry and don't give up on them. Don't feel bad that they've not accepted Christ. You know that Noah was the worlds worst evangelist. He never converted anyone in a hundred years.

Maybe you are reading this and someone you know has called and called and called and you've not responded. Wouldn't you rather accept Christ and weep somewhere other than at Denny's? Come on, just do it. You know you want to. Jesus loves you and He wants you back.
