Colleen Webb - Middle East Missions

Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well. I have an interesting
quote for you: "It takes faith to live by faith." And I have experienced
this firsthand!
As most of you know, at the end of June I found out that someone had stolen
$3000 from my bank account. The money has been completely restored, but my
bank had to cancel my bank card and send a new one. After a month and a half,
it still did not come. So, the bank sent a new one and this time by a quicker
way. I am still waiting so I have not accessed my bank account for more than
2 months! But somehow, God has continually provided for me. When I get down
to just a few coins, someone will give me enough to keep going. So I have
never lacked for anything! I see miracles almost daily in my finances! I am
seeing the faithfulness of God my Father in a BIG way! So now I have learned
to have the faith to live by faith. I go to the post office everyday so now
I'm also being like the persistent widow, but even in lack I'm not lacking
anything! My friends invite me to dinner 3-4 times a week so I don't worry
about food, and God is just SO GOOD!!!!!
Yesterday, our CP Team had our 1st prayer trip since our vehicle was blown up.
It was such a good time. We went to a village we have never been to before, and
Amy & I had some sunflower seeds, so as a prophetic act, we threw the seeds at
various places and asked the Lord that the seed of prayer that we were sowing
would produce much fruit.
Also, our CP Team has decided to have a prayer & fasting chain for one of our
MBB's. He will go on trial September 18th for changing his religion from Islam to
Christianity. He is really struggling, and needs a lot of prayer. So please
remember him in your prayers.
Please pray for Moni, the leader of Jewish ministries. Her grandmother just
passed away, and she was closer than a mother to her. She tried to see her
grandmother before, but she didn't get there in time to say goodbye and it is
very difficult. She is in Germany with her family now, so please keep her in
your prayers.
Heike (my roommate) and I have a prayer room in our apartment and like to
have times of prayer & intercession together. This past week, we had an AWESOME
time of prayer! We prayed for at least 3 hours and it felt like only a few
minutes. God showed us all kinds of cool things, especially for our neighborhood.
Our neighborhood is very Islamic and also in one of the most dangerous areas of
Jerusalem. (We didn't know this until we moved in) Jewish people are afraid to
go in this area. So we felt led to pray for our neighborhood, and also for our
protection. As we were praying , I started singing a war song in tongues, and
Heike had a vision of angels lining the entire street and all of them were
watching the 2 of us! Then, these angels became fire! I also had an impression
that God is on the verge of pouring out His Spirit upon this land and area, and
that He has specific strategies to reach our neighbors. The neighbors genuinely
like us, and we have favor with them, so that is a big blessing! Anyway, the more
I pray, the more I love to pray! So God is incredibly good!
